This answer to this question should be confident and concise, almost like a focused sales pitch on why you’re the best person for the job.

What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness?

Expect some variation of these two interview questions no matter what job you’re seeking. This question pair is almost always asked as a benchmark to determine your qualifications. In answering about your greatest strengths, think about what skills are best suited for the job and tailor your response to include those. For example, if you’re applying for a sales positon, one of your greatest strengths could be your ability to interact and engage with people from a variety of different backgrounds.

Like the answer to the strength question, giving an answer about your greatest weakness should also be nuanced. To best answer this question, frame your response around skills that you have improved. Not only will this highlight your ability to learn and grow, but it will also show development and an intuitive approach to becoming a better worker.
