The CCSD Legacy
Generations of successful graduates
Decades of innovation and a focus on the education needs of busy adults has resulted in generations of successful professionals. California College San Diego’s legacy reaches back to the 1970s as a pioneer and innovator in respiratory therapy education. California College San Diego was formerly known as California College for Health Sciences (CCHS), and before that as the California College for Respiratory Therapy (CCRT). In May 2003, the College became California College San Diego (CCSD), the newest member of a family of schools now owned by the Center for Excellence in Higher Education. Academic offerings in healthcare, business and technology were expanded, and locations now include San Diego, San Marcos and National City. You can be confident that through the decades of growth, CCSD’s legacy of unprecedented student support lives on.
