Lyft is looking for motivated and organized Community Associates to join our Seattle office. In this role, you will help drive our local operations activities, including onboarding and providing customer support to drivers. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide drivers through the onboarding process whether in person, at an event, phone, email, and carrier pigeon
  • Willing to work at various locations to support driver and passenger facing activities
  • Work closely with peers and third parties to organize onboarding events for Lyft drivers
  • Educate drivers one-on-one and in groups
  • Support drivers with your knowledge of both Seattle and the Lyft platform
  • Analyze Lyft data for performance gaps and process improvements

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • White glove customer service experience
  • Attention to detail…basically you’re someone who enjoys and is good at coloring inside the lines
  • You’re good at multitasking. Yes, we know “multitasking” isn’t a real thing, but basically you’re able to type and talk at the same time…or pat your head and rub your belly
  • Strong computer skills is a must and you feel comfortable with learning new processes and systems
  • Patience, Patience, Patience
  • You go the extra mile to communicate clearly and effectively
  • You are thorough. There is no race between the turtle and the hare
  • Self- Starter
  • Ability to work Saturdays every now and then
  • Typically involves standing for most of the workday (although Lyft will make accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities)
