Event Operations Coordinator 382 views

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all event operations including but not limited to security, event staffing, sanitary services, gate entrance, load in and load out schedules, brand and sponsor activation.

  • Plan and propose workflows for every event. Ensure the flow of traffic throughout the venue is both safe and efficient.

  • Manage security staff and ensure every attendee has a secure experience during the event.

  • Manage, and coordinate event timelines and ensure all staff adhere to it.

  • Venue scout potential locations for future events. Negotiate and execute contracts provided by venues to ensure a successful event that adheres to city codes, and local ordinances.

  • Coordinate, setup, and manage VIP experiences to include but not limited to: drink packages, swag bags, and food packages.

  • Plan and manage the gate entrance, coordinate security, and credential distribution.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be very organized and detailed with planning

  • Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Applicant must be able to lift 25 – 50 pounds of equipment

  • Must be able to work within a team environment with an emphasis on positive culture.

  • Must be willing to travel at least one time per month.

  • Must have strong negotiating skills.
