This position is responsible for managing forecasts and supply logistics for Colonial and Plantation pipelines. Main focus is to forecast, nominate and schedule fuel to all self-supply locations fed off of plantation and colonial pipelines with additional scheduling responsibilities possible. Job availability is 24/7 due to the critical responsibility of the role during potential emergency or crisis situations. Manage self supply logistics along the Colonial and Plantation footprint while providing adequate levels for operational needs. Realign and optimize inventory levels between the three Atlanta fuel farm storage tanks while reacting and mitigating any possible supply disruptions. Forecast Atlanta consumption by tank farm and manage the fuel forecast model. Assist team in researching new markets and determining the best economics of physical fuel movements in order to establish new self supply locations at major pipeline fed markets. Manage close process for Gulf Coast transactions on Colonial and Plantation while looking to improve and automate the accounting month-end volumes. Align fuel purchases and inventory levels with quarterly treasury objectives while communicating projected month end cash usage of pipelines to finance group. Schedule and maintain batch transactions on a weekly basis while maintaining relationships with other supply and trading partners. Assist tender process by analyzing supply logistics and economics of self supplying various locations. Provide Ad hoc analysis capabilities as required by trading, accounting, treasury and FP&A Job requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field. Masters degree in Business/Finance or equivalent is preferred. 2-4 years of experience of relevant work experience is required. Must demonstrate a basic level of understanding of pipeline logistics for jet fuel supply shipments. Must be comfortable working in a trading desk environment with exposure to changing priorities, tight deadlines and expectations that multiple projects can be managed concurrently. Must have good critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions to a variety of issues that may arise. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel is required. A thorough understanding of pipeline tariffs and fuel invoicing process is preferred
